This is a 1969 Chevrolet Impala 4 door hardtop. It was originally a base model Impala with the 327 engine. Power steering was the only option.  I have had the car since about 1993 and have worked on it gradually since then while driving it.   Mechanical modifications over the years have been as follows:
Current Original
Performed basic rebuild when the plastic timing teeth blew up at 150,000 miles.  This included rings, bearings, etc. The base model 327 came with "305" heads.  I upgraded to the higher performance "327" heads 235 HP 327 V-8,
Comp Cams Xtreme Energy cam, 218 deg at 0.05 Stock cam
4 barrel Holly Street Avenger 0-80570, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake. 2 barrel carb, 
Heddman coated headers, dual 2.5" exaust single 2" exhaust
Accel HEI distributor, MSD 6AL ignition Points distributor
Transmission - replaced powerglide with a Turbo hydramatic 350 several years back.  Installing a 700-R4 as part of the current rebuild Powerglide
Rear - 12 bolt factory style posi 3.73 gears 12 bolt rear, 2.73 gears
Added power brakes by adding booster and relocating piston/pedal attachment point up one inch manual brakes, 4 drums
Added 1.25" sway bar in front, 1" sway bar in back 7/8" sway bar in front
Polygraphite bushings on all active suspension points  
Edelbrock 100 HP nitrous pate system
